What Our 1-Year Warranty Covers

Our 1-Year Warranty applies to the following types of lighters:

Butane Lighters:

  • Defects in mechanisms and workmanship under normal use.
  • Ignition system failures not caused by external damage, expended flint, or lack of fuel.
  • Leaks in the butane reservoir or issues with the refill mechanism.

Wick Lighters:

  • Defects in mechanisms and workmanship under normal use.
  • Ignition mechanism failures not caused by external damage, expended flint, charred wicks, worn cotton, or lack of fuel.
  • Leaks or issues with the fuel reservoir.

Electric Lighters:

  • Defects in mechanisms and workmanship under normal use.
  • Failures in the electric ignition system not caused by external damage.
  • Issues with the rechargeable battery or charging mechanism under normal use.

What Our 1-Year Warranty Does Not Cover

While our 1-Year Warranty is comprehensive, it does not cover certain conditions:

  • Accidental Damage: Damage resulting from dropping, water exposure, or other forms of mishandling.
  • Wear and Tear: Normal wear and tear, such as scratches, discoloration, worn wicks, cotton, flints, flame color depletion, or battery degradation over time.
  • Improper Use: Issues arising from improper refilling techniques, fueling, charging practices, or use of incompatible chargers.
  • Unauthorized Modifications: Damage due to modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by unauthorized service centers or personnel.
  • Product Disassembly: Damage or issues resulting from the product being disassembled or tampered with in any manner.
  • External Causes: Damage resulting from fire, natural disasters, loss, theft, or other external causes.

Warranty Activation and Claims Process

Proof of Purchase: To make a warranty claim, you must provide a valid proof of purchase. Please retain your receipt or order confirmation email as proof of your purchase.

Making a Claim: If you experience an issue with your lighter that you believe is covered under our 1-Year Warranty, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team here, or at support@techspade.com.
  2. Provide Details: Include a description of the issue, your proof of purchase, and any relevant photos or videos of the defect.
  3. Shipping: If your claim is approved, we will cover the shipping costs to send the replacement product.

Getting a Replacement: Upon reviewing the warranty claim, our team will determine if the defect is covered by our warranty. If it is, we will replace the lighter at our discretion.

General Terms and Conditions

  • Original Purchaser: The 1-Year Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
  • Replacement Warranty: Replacement products provided under warranty are covered for the remaining duration of the original warranty period.
  • Warranty Continuation: The warranty does not reset or extend with the issuance of a replacement product.
  • Discretion of the Company: TechSpade reserves the right to replace the defective product based on our assessment.
  • Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damages resulting from accidental damage, wear and tear, improper use, unauthorized modifications, product disassembly, or external causes.
